For the logo I immediately knew I wanted a schnauzer to be the dog I used, mainly because of the "old" look that the schnauzer has, and I pushed that even further by adding the glasses and bowtie. I sketched out the dog before vectorizing and adjusted the sizes of the different elements on the dog a few times before finalizing this logo.

Project: Golden OldiesĀ
For this project I was tasked with creating a mobile dog grooming company. To do so I was to determine what made this company special, utilize that and use that to create the name, logo, colors, and overall visual identity. I chose to create a mobile grooming unit for elderly dogs, and through research was able to determine primary colors (using color psychology research for dogs), a fun logo mark, and a catchy name. Once all of those aspects were identified, I was able to utilize those parts and create collateral design mockups.
For these mockups, I was instructed to be as straightforward with the vector objects and the elements on them to make sure that what was being showcased was the logo, colors, and tagline in use. So, for these, I have done just that.
